I have suffered from depression since as long as I can remember. My episodes, however, were short lived as I raised a family and "just got on with it". This was until around January 2008 when I found out what REAL depression is all about. Right now, I am trying to (as always it seems) progress out of it after five long years of learning and processing. I know it is about DOING and more importantly BEING and ACCEPTING that I am as I am. I know that for me, it is ALL in my head - the problem is getting it out. This blog is for myself and for others. I hope to provide both my personal experiences as well as some resources that may be helpful to others. I am also hopeful that I will find others who can connect and whom I can learn and be motivated to KEEP going. Sometimes, it's just minute to minute.
